CORSAIR trimarans
One thing is for sure, with a Corsair you really can unfold a new adventure every weekend! The trimaran platform is our favourite mainly for its sailing prowess, handles like a monohull and goes like a beach sport cat. We grew up racing sport cats so with the Corsair we still retain our beach racing heritage but now we have the kitchen sink with us too!
Have Corsair, will travel. Our fleet started with the One Design 750 series with Club racing then coastal racing. Now that the fleet has grown with bigger Corsairs we need more space to move, but that will have to wait. Until the borders open we'll continue with casualClub racing and raiding the southern islands.
We introduced the Dash 750 so that we could join the world's only equator race. Since then, its become our favourite tool. The 750 series was the bread and butter line from Corsair and over the last ten years it has evolved into the 760. The smaller Corsairs could be considered the Swiss Army knife of the trimaran world for the do-it-all ability.
In Singapore, we have really unique boating environment as we sail among some of the busiest shipping lanes on the planet. We started with the 750 and now have a decent One Design Fleet. Added to that are a few 760's, a couple of 28RS, a 970 and soon the shiny new 880. Sad to say the 600 doesn't fit into our land-scarce island as there isn't a suitable dry-store facility that can easily accommodate it.
