Sport Cats
Sport cats have been our thing here (Singapore) since the 80's. We started with the Hobie "way of life" and just grew from there. Although our platforms have grown in complexity and size, our roots have remained intact.
From our Hobie roots, we moved to the Nacra Sport Cat's then shifted into a higher gear with the lightweight Taipan then the Viper F16 from Australian High Performance Cats. After that we transitioned to the trimaran platform with the Corsair Dash.
During the 21st Singapore Catamaran Championship (January 2021) we refurbished our original '95 model Nacra 5.8 and as funny as it seems, that platform came out on top! In the intervening 26 years, the Aussie Nacra 5.8 has undergone some evolution which now make it a very valued performer. We love the 5.8, it's a real classic!

We've gone through the complete cycle from skeg styled beach cats of the 80's to the Cee-Foil Nacra 20 Carbon of 2010's. Right now, most popular is the latest skeg boat from Nacra Australia, the Nacra 430!
While our used high-tech boats change hands our new cat sales are now into the no-fuss 430 style of cat. That's probably a reflection of these uncertain times where folks don't need anymore hassle and prefer their sailing to be as carefree as possible!
Which one is right for you?
If you want boom-less, carefree sailing get a Sport cat. If you want something that is more precise and you'll never get bored with, get a Race cat
Race boats in our Fleet: Nacra 20 Carbon, Nacra 20 One Design, Nacra 5.8, Viper F16, Taipan 4.9, Nacra 15
