1985 January.
Black and white covers were all the rage, but a nice piece by Rosaling Mackenzie depicting the 'new' clubhouse.
Inside: the young Ben Tan who won the Asian Fireball Championship in Pattaya! Ben has gone on to become the CEO of Singapore Sailing.
38 boats took part in the Metro Regatta (that beats today's numbers 6 fold!).
The Wind Rose is most interesting. It shows 40% of the wind was 11-16 knots from true North. We think that beats the current 2016 season by a long way... Global warming is a global warning!
1994 July.
Lee Boon Wang, respected artist and life term member of CSC, painted a whole series of log Covers. This one, Alice Lim and Scott McCook.
Inside, students Laser championship written by Tan Wearn Haw who came 1st in the event and went onto to become the CEO of Singapore Sailing. Also, sailing the Nacra 5.0 to Rawa Island a 100 miles up the Malaysian East Coast.

1994 May.
Lee Boon Wang's cover was of, Siew Saw Her and Charles Lim. Both were Singapore Olympians. Charles has gone on to be a most respected visual artist in Singapore.
Inside, the Raffles Light Race - which is no longer. Enoshima Youth Sailing Exchange, they don't do that anymore! A Boat Show ehibition piece by Stanley Tan who went on to represent Singapore in the Laser at the Olympics. A Rawa Cruise by Ruper Ong

1991 October.
On the cover, one of the first Nacra 5.0's into Singapore. Ho Lay Cheng the owner now resides in New Zealand.
Inside... A lovely letter from Jack Gulston one of the pioneers of the Club thanking long time GM Edward for the copy recieved but adding a lot of correction into the fray about the date of establishment (1936). Got to love the Brits! A great tale from Andrew Chan on all his cats and some adventures sailing at CSC. After Andrew purcahsed a new Nacra 5.0, we took him on an adventure sail into Riau Indonesia and gave him double Malaria! He currently owns a Weta trimaran at CS

On the cover, Colin Ng in the 420. Colin still sails occassionally with the guy that is featured on the last page!
Inside. The 'new' club extensions underway heralding the beginning of the end!?
